Broken Pipe

What a way to start out the weeek. On Tuesday, Zach got a call from our insurance guy that stopped by the house to pick up some papers, and he said that there was water running out of our house. So Zach called me and we both rushed home to see what was going on. There was a pipe that burst in our entryway and there was water running everywhere including into the garage. When Zach walked into the house he figured he was standing in 4 inches of water. The water that leaked into the garage was already frozen solid. We think that the pipe in the entryway, just got to cold and decided to burst. What a nightmare. So Zach's dad Dave came over and helped us clean up everything. We don't think that it did too much to the structure, but we are going to have to rip up the carpet, and repaint. I had a cute puppy boarder hanging in the entryway and that was falling off when we came home, so we had to tear it the rest of the way off. We managed to salvage most of the stuff in the entryway, but a lot of it has major water damage. Everything is fixed now, and we are still trying to get everything cleaned up. Thank you Dave for all of your help Zach and I appreciate it. I will try to post pictures, sometime this weekend. Have a great weekend everyone.
